About the event

Lele Doll Workshop

SanArte & Ancestral Sisterhood would like to invite you to join us in this beautiful opportunity, to make your very own Lele Doll.

What is a Lele Doll? These very popular dolls, are traditionally made by our Hñähñu (Otomí) relatives. The word “lele” means baby, and they are made in the likeness of the very colorful style of clothing in woven/embroidered fabrics with ribbons adorning their hair.

During this workshop, we will guide you through making your very own doll!

Date: May 4th, 2024
